According to BlockBeats, on April 15, d.id's decentralized identity protocol .bit is preparing a major technical upgrade to be compatible with the RGB++ protocol, making .bit an asset running on the Bitcoin layer. Currently, .bit already supports the parsing and binding of Bitcoin addresses, and realizes the transfer of Bitcoin and RGB++ assets. RGB++ is an extension protocol based on RGB. It maps Bitcoin UTXO to the Cell of Nervos CKB through isomorphic binding, bringing Turing-complete contract extension and performance extension to Bitcoin without cross-chain and loss of security. The .bit team has previously completed a $13 million Series A financing.
